Marsh Regional Blood Center conducted a blood drive at Milligan University on Monday, January 27, 2025, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event successfully collected 30 units, which means that 90 lives were saved or sustained by the Milligan community.

“We are the main blood suppliers for all of the hospitals and cancer centers within the Ballad Health region,” explained Bryan Delph, mobile coordinator for Marsh Regional Blood Center.

Bethany Wilson, a Milligan student from California shared “Giving blood is such a great way to help out my community and I enjoyed the opportunity to give back. The people working the blood drive were all friendly and helpful, making it a pleasant experience.”

The blood drive supports essential medical services throughout the region, helping to maintain a stable blood supply for local healthcare facilities. Engaging young people to donate also creates lifelong donors.
