Friday 10/25
The Inauguration Ceremony of Dr. Stephen Waers took place at 2pm in Seeger Chapel. The Stampede and 90.5 WUMC Milligan Radio collaborated and covered the ceremony live, you can still listen to the show on Spotify. The play “Peter Pan & Wendy” happened at 7:30pm in the Gregory Center.
Midnight Dogeball happened at 9:30pm at the Steve Lacey Fieldhouse.
Men´s Basketball won their first game of the season 61-55 at Florida College.
Milligan Cross Country Team raced at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge. Bryan Woodall won the 8km and set a new Milligan record with a time of 23:20.7min. Ellen-Mary Kearney finished the 5km race on place 2.
Saturday 10/26
Milligan Homecoming hosted a lot of exciting events spreaded over the entire day. There was the parade, a run, a concert, multiple lectures, athletic events and science experiments for children. Look forward to an upcoming story coveriering the Homecoming event.
The play “Peter Pan & Wendy” happened at 7:30pm in the Gregory Center.
Men`s Basketball played against Webber International and won the game 75-62.
Milligan Soccer played against Pikeville. The Woman´s team won 1-0, with the deciding goal made by Halle Steele. The Men`s Team won their senior night 4-0, with goals made by Justin Madejski, Alex Panner, Boikaego Mbaakanyi and Liam Lahsangah.
Men`s Bowling placed 1st in the team classification at Greater Nashville Open.
Sunday 10/27
The final show of the play “Peter Pan & Wendy” happened at 2pm in the Gregory Center.
Men`s Bowling placed 2nd in the team classification at Brendon Burn Memorial.
Vespers happened at 8:30pm with Zimri Kuhn as speaker.
