Milligan students convened at The King’s Center last Friday evening for the highly anticipated annual Senior Banquet and That Big Party.
The banquet began with Senior Class President Evan Magnes introducing Samuel Dorcely and Marius Grytdal who spoke about their time and experiences at Milligan. Senior Julie Gray then led prayer before the dinner and later Dr. Eisenback was introduced as the banquet’s keynote speaker.
The banquet concluded around 7:30pm, with That Big Party beginning shortly after.
“Honestly, the best part was everyone smiling and having a good time,” Junior Xzayvier Ford-Smith said. “It was nice to see students happy and enjoying themselves.”
Many students look forward to That Big Party for a chance to take a break from academics and classes.
“That Big Party acts as an awesome break from the business of the time and a chance to let loose and have a fun time with your friends before the semester ends,” Junior Sam Kyker said.
In total, 99 attended the Senior Banquet, including Seniors, their plus-ones, and faculty and staff guests. 263 students attended That Big Party.
