Food Network personality Guy Fieri has plans with business partner Robert Earl to open four chicken based restaurants across Tennessee.

Restaurants are projected to open in 2020 with locations in Johnson City, Nashville, Gatlinburg, and Knoxville.

Face Hospitality, another partner on the project, is currently looking at locations in town.

“We are looking at several [locations in Johnson City],” said Rosemary Rose, President of FACE Hospitality in an interview with News Channel 11, “and probably shortly, we’ll be ready to announce that.”

Four restaurant locations already exist in Florida, Maryland and California.

“I’ve shot DDD (Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives) and eaten all over the state, and I know how much the great people of Tennessee love their real deal chicken.” said Fieri in a statement. “So, to be able to partner with a great local team like FACE Hospitality is a perfect opportunity to bring Chicken Guy! to Nashville and beyond.”

The restaurant boasts over 20 different sauces, with menu items such as chicken sandwiches, salads, flavortown frozen treats and chicken tenders.

Milligan freshman Hayley Barrick is looking forward to the chicken tenders. “I’ve been eating chicken tenders my whole life. I love them and consider myself an expert on them.” Barrick is highly anticipating the restaurant. “I’m excited for the opening and to try out their chicken tendies.” More information on the menu and restaurant can be found here.
