Students gathered in Lower Seeger Tuesday night at 8 p.m. to hear the testimonies and “two words” of three of their fellow classmates, teammates and friends.

The three students who gave their testimonies were senior Megan Fontenot, junior Brianna Tuscani, and senior Grant Callahan.

“Heart-rending” was the word to describe the emotions swirling around in the bottom floor room of Seeger. Students laughed, cried and smiled as the testimonies and coming-to-faith stories were shared.

The recounted story of sexual violence from one of the speakers, brought on complete silence and a serious tone. Students leaned in to hear the accounts of trials and tribulations that brought these students to faith.

Callahan, inspired by the opportunity to share God’s love with the listening students, said that he was grateful for the opportunity and blessed that Milligan’s swim team came out to support their fellow teammate.

“My 2 Words” is an event that not only affects and inspires the students who come out to listen to the testimonies, but also the students speaking who get to share their stories with their fellow classmates, hoping to inspire them all on the path to salvation.
