Despite chilly conditions, SGA’s and Goah’s Spring Concert Festival successfully relocated to Lower Seeger, maintaining its 7 p.m. start time. The indoor venue did not dampen the evening’s spirits, offering students a vibrant night of music and entertainment.

Local food vendors added to the event’s appeal, with Mimi’s Creamery stationed outside Seeger and dinner options including Chick-fil-A and pizza to keep attendees satisfied. The lineup featured two student bands and a headliner. The first of the two student openers, Skye and the Guys, impressed the crowd with creative covers, including a unique remix of Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You” and renditions of Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” and John Mayer’s “Gravity.” Their band was made up of freshman Nick Cymek and Carter Dickersom, sophomores Bobby Emert, Noah Hundley, Jayce Johnston and Camden Lyles, junior Bryant Magness and senior Skye Purdue.
B’dabble Arts & Craft Studio followed, performing memorable covers like Ben Harper’s “Steal My Kisses” and America’s classic “A Horse with No Name.” Their band consisted mostly of recent Milligan graduates Josiah Loveall, Evan Magness, Jeston Mason and Marcus Wymer and junior Bryant Magness.
Headlining the event, Donnie and the Dry Heavers—a four-piece band from Northeast Tennessee formed in 2018—delivered an energetic set of original music and covers, including Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues” and Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine.”
The evening concluded with an exciting raffle, where lucky attendees had the chance to win prizes, which included a 7-Brew gift card, Spotify Premium subscription, and an Owala water bottle.
