Weekly update for Spring Semester 2024, Week 5 02/12-02/19
A tubing trip at Beech Mountain will be available for students to go to on Monday at 4:30. The van seating 14 people will depart Milligan at 4:30 p.m. and the event will start at 6 p.m. The entrance fee is $10.
The 2nd floor lobby of Derthick Hall will be hosting Bagel Meets Coffee on Tuesday from 7:30 to 11 a.m. There will be a free DIY bagel bar, free coffee, and a flower-gram delivery sign-up.
Milligan Men’s Basketball will be playing Montreat at 7:30 in Steve Lacy Fieldhouse on Wednesday
.There are no events or activities happening this Thursday except Chapel as usual.
Friday marks the start of Family Weekend at Milligan from Feb 16-18, with events like the Dean’s List reception on Feb 17 and other events like sports games, and other such events.
Family weekend continues on Saturday, with the Dean’s List reception on this day, where those students that made the Dean’s List last semester get a certificate and mug as a way to commemorate their achievements in their academics.
Sunday is the last day of Family weekend.
