Spring Semester 2024 Week 4
FRIDAY
Milligan Buffalo’s Baseball beat Rio Grande in both games of the double-header. The first game was Milligan(8), Rio Grande (1); and the second being Milligan (14), Rio Grande (0).
The art event, Two Cats and a Herd of Buffalo, hosted at Dos Gatos Coffee Bar was quite successful.
The venue was packed for the majority of the event, with many Milligan students, teachers, and alumni present to admire the 53 art pieces by various Milligan student artists.
SATURDAY
Milligan Baseball won their second double header against Rio Grande, scores for game one were Milligan (11), Rio Grande (10); and Milligan (4), Rio Grande (0) for game two.
Milligan Cycling was able to achieve many podiums in the roadrace and timetrail at the “Swamp Classic” in Florida.
Milligan’s campus didn’t have any other events on Saturday.
SUNDAY
Milligan Cycling took some more podium spots in the crit race of “Swamp Classic”
Vespers and FCA crossover happened at 8:30 p.m. in Lower Seeger.
A “mysterious” (to me at least) event happened at around 2:30 p.m. in the Gregory Center on Sunday, with many well-dressed people attending.
The cause of this event’s “mysterious” nature is because I have no clue what it was, and no one I have talked to or asked about it knows what it was either. I can’t find record of it anywhere explaining what it is, but one can only assume that it was a theater or music performance of some sort.
