Alayna Perryman took third and a few other Buffaloes finished in the top 10 to lead the number nine Milligan University women’s golf team to a runner-up finish in the third meet of the spring season.

Perryman fired a 75 in the day’s single-round event, third by three strokes. Jenny Simonsen and Emma Brown both took sixth with 81’s, and Meryl Castle and Gabby Hammond took ninth. Danielle Mirovich led the Milligan B team with a sixth-place finish, and all of the 11 Buffs who competed finished in the top 20.

Milligan’s final tally of 319 and was second to Tusculum who had a score of 308.

Up next, Milligan hosts the Mountain Empire Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, April 12-13. The event will take place at Elizabethton Golf Club with the Milligan men’s golf team also competing.
