The Milligan men’s soccer team secured an important win over Columbia International University (CIU) at Anglin Field on Wednesday, despite trailing 0-1 in the first half. CIU scored their first and only goal in the 20th minute. Milligan responded 12 minutes later with an equalizing goal by Inaki Moreno. Freshman Jett Carter scored the winning goal early in the second half, giving the Buffs a 2-1 victory. The win improves Milligan’s record to  (9-1, 8-1 AAC), and now they are only one win away from the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season title.

The Buffs go on the road to battle Tennessee Wesleyan next Thursday, March 18, for the AAC regular-season title.
