The Student Government Association posted a video on Friday answering questions regarding the Critical Conversations series. Critical Conversations is a series of discussions that SGA is conducting to address concerns about the LGBTQ+ community on campus. SGA President Dalton Shell and SGA Treasurer Chase McGlamery are in the video, and they also served as moderators for phase one of the discussions. Dalton Shell discussed the student selection process, and the effort that was made to select students representing the entirety of the Milligan community. Chase McGlamery detailed what SGA did to prepare for the conversations. Both explained the success and process of phase one.

“When a student or student group is feeling unloved or unwelcome on campus, it is something that SGA and the University takes very seriously,” said Shell. “The overall goal really is to make the world a better place and a kinder place.”
