The town of Unicoi will host its last free drive-in movie of the year on Nov. 14.  The movie, “The Polar Express”, will be held at the Tourist Information Center located at 106 Unicoi Village Place. 

According to the Town’s webpage, “Guests are asked to remain in their vehicles except for restrooms and concessions.” This is to take precautions for COVID-19. Also, they ask that only one person per car visit the concession area at a time, Masks are also required to attend the event.

“To finish up the year with a heart-warming Christmas favorite will give guests a little bit of hope,” said Town of Unicoi Mayor Johnny Lynch. 

Lynch also said that the holiday season is still about family and believing in magic of the season despite the pandemic.

The movie will start at 5:30.The concessions stand will also open at 5:30 and will be serving cookies, hotdogs, drinks, chips, nachos, coffee and hot chocolate. 

According to the Unicoi town website there will also be a special guest making an appearance at 6PM
