A fun catchy song with great harmonies sung by two sisters with a great tune that will get stuck in your head.
2. Summertime Magic by Childish Gambino
Childish Gambino released “Summer Pack” and I don’t think he got enough press for it. True bops.
3. Ireland by William Hinson
William Hinson is an Asheville based artist that I was introduced to when he opened for The Collection. Great vocals, great guitar, and great lyrics.
4. Leadlight by Julia Jacklin
Her vocals will stop you in your tracks, and her lyrics are fantastic.
5. Girl Harbor by Manchester Orchestra
Junior Joel Richardson told me to listen to them when I learned they were going on tour with The Front Bottoms, and I am seriously bummed I missed out on them so long!
6. Left of Your Joy by The Collection
Another Asheville artist(s)! This is one of my favorite bands, and they released this single off their album coming out October 5th, “Entropy.”
7. Talk With Your Hands by Bad Bad Hats
A really great band I found on Discover Weekly a few years ago, their fun lyrics and chill but still boppy tune keeps you hooked. This is one of my favorite songs off of the album they released this past summer.
8. Hey Ya by Avriel & the Sequoias
This. Voice. His range is unreal, and this is just a fun song to sing.
9. Ugly by First Aid Kit
First Aid Kit just released an EP titled “Tender Offerings,” and this is my favorite single off of it! So empowering and great lyrics.
10. Tie Dye Dragon by The Front Bottoms
This is off the latest EP of the Front Bottoms, and in all honesty, there is not a song of theirs I don’t like. This is just a fun one.
11. Potential by Scheme Queen
This is a Philly duo with just one song out, but I hope they keep making music because I love the vibe and guitar in this.
12. Fever Pitch by Rainbow Kitten Surprise
This is a song of Rainbow Kitten Surprises latest album, and I have never heard a voice like his. Extraordinary.
13. Young Adult by Ritt Momney
I only checked this group out because of their name, but they has a perfect chill vibes with some real lyrics.
14. Saturday Sun by Vance Joy
Vance Joy released a new album!! How could you not be excited?
15. My Blood by Twenty One Pilots
Twenty One Pilots, new music, my favorite band, album out October 5th. Enough said.
16. Feels Like Summer by Childish Gambino
I don’t normally like having the same artist twice on a playlist, but I really think “Summer Pack” didn’t get the credit it deserves and both of these songs are so good.
