Who are the freshman SGA members?

Five freshmen were inducted into the Student Government Association after their election on Sept. 14.

This group of representatives is looking forward to helping the student body and looking to make a difference on campus.

Weekend Recap

Friday 11/15

Women´s Volleyball played in the AAC Tournament against Union Commonwealth and won 3-0.

The MTB Team raced at the XC race at Nationals, best Milligan riders were Samanth Clark on place 13 and Luke Harris on place 15.

Saturday 11/16

Women´s Volleyball played in the Semifinal of the AAC Tournament against Reinhardt and lost 2-3, which ends the season.

The Basketball Team played against Truett McConnell. The Women´s Team won 88-53, the Men´s Team won 93-83.

The MTB Team raced at the Short Track XC race at Nationals, best Milligan riders were Samanth Clark on place 11 and Luke Harris on place 24.

Sunday 11/17

The Opening Reception of the Graphic Design & Interactive Media Design Senior Showcase was taking place from 2-4pm in the Milligan Art Gallery in Derthick Hall. You can seee the exhibition until 12/03.

The MTB Team raced at the Downhill race at Nationals, best Milligan riders were Megan Eakin on place 27 and Liam Clark on place 18. The Team placed 7th in the Team Relay.

Vespers happened at 8:30pm in Lower Seeger, Marinda Walls spoke about the topic “Do you love me?”

Monday 11/18

My2Words is happening at 8:30pm in Lower Seeger, you can earn 2 SFP.

The Graphic Design & Interactive Media Design Senior Showcase is happening from 11/17 – 12/03 in the Milligan Art Gallery in Derthick Hall.

Tuesday 11/19

Wednesday 11/20

The Welshimer Book Club is happening 12pm – 1pm in the Welshimer Library talking about the book “The Bandit Queens” by Parini Shroff.

Dr. Miller is hosting a mini lecture with snacks and will talk about the topic “Should wives submit to their husbands?”. The event is happening at 7:30pm in the sub and you can earn 1 SFP.

The Swimming & Diving Team competes at Gamecock Invite.

Milligan Basketball plays against Columbia. The Women´s Game happens at 5:30pm, the Men´s play at 7:30pm.

Thursday 11/21

In Chapel Kajela Dersu is speaking about “The Armor of God” and with that closes the series “Ephesians: Brought to Life, Brought Together”

Open Mic Night happens at 8:30pm in Lower Seeger.

The Swimming & Diving Team competes at Gamecock Invite.

Men´s Soccer plays at 7pm against Madonna.

Friday 11/22

The Swimming & Diving Team competes at Gamecock Invite.

The Cross Country Team races at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships.

Saturday 11/23

Another Buffalo Ramblers Hike is happening, meeting point is outside Sutton 8:45am. The hike is taking place at Iron Mountain, is 4 miles long and intermediate level.

The Bowling Team plays at Collegiate Team Match “Tier 1”.

Women´s Basketball plays at 2pm against Reinhardt, the Men´s game takes place at 4pm.

The Cyclocross Team races at the North Carolina Grand Prix in Hendersonville.
